The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Marine Safety, Education and Administration, Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago is set to officially declare his intention to run for the Niger state gubernatorial election.
The declaration event, slated to hold on the 19th of May will take place at the Trade Fair Complex in Minna, Niger state capital.
Hon. Umaru Bago who is a third-time federal lawmaker from Chanchanga constituency, in Niger State is one of the top contenders for the governorship ticket under the APC.
Having successfully passed through the screening process of the APC Screening Committee, Bago will contend with other aspirants for the Government House’ sit in Minna.
