The operation was executed by troops attached to the Forward Operating Base in Wukari, serving under the Sector 3 Operation Whirl Stroke. Acting on verified intelligence, the tactical team tracked and cornered Guyama within the Vaase community of Ukum Local Government Area in Benue State.
