The head of (NAF) C, AVM O.A. Adesanya stated this today in a Twitter chat with Nigerians and the global community.
The NAF information officer who added that the medical outreach to the Internally Displaced Persons, IPDs is an ongoing programme also said that the Air Force has every medical package on ground to cater for the wellbeing of its personnel
Responding to a Tweet on what humanitarian services the NAF is rendering t the people, the AVM Adesanya said “As at November 2017, the NAF had provided free medical treatment and surgeries to 223,591 IDPs. Nutritional programmes also are ongoing. More would be done as necessary,” he Twitted on @NAFSpokesman
In response to Fatimah Oyelami @MsTyma’s Twitt “Sir @NAFSpokesman I would like to know if there is any health insurance policy in place for your officers? I also want to know if your clinic/hospitals are adequately equipped to cater for them/”
AVM Adesaya replied “NAF personnel are on NHIS. NAF hospitals are very well equipped to cater for personnel and dependents as well as civilian members of host communities.
