APC Congress: Open Letter To President Buhari A Case For Saliu Mustapha

Dear Mr. President,

My name is Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah, I am a Nigerian citizen from Edo State. I hope this letter finds you well, and my best wishes for the new year.

Please your Excellency accept my apologies for my writing you an open letter, I believe it is the only way it can get to you.

I am writing specifically for your attention as regards the forthcoming  APC national convention and the need to support Mallam Saliu Mustapha the Turaki of Ilorin to emerge as the next national chairman of the biggest party in Africa, the All Progressives Congress, APC.

This is a cause that I and millions of other Nigerians feel very strongly about because of your craving to leave a sustainable legacy at the exit of your tenure. You have made indelible marks in the annals of our history, your passion to uphold fairness and justice has impacted positively on every facet of our lives.

The forthcoming APC national congress must be held as the stakes are high, time is limited, Nigerians look forward to the ruling party having a National Executive that can be able to present credible and popular candidates for the 2023 general elections and beyond.

The APC must be seen as a PARTY of development that is sensitive to the plights of the masses. Who emerges as the next national chairman of your political party the APC must have the core values of integrity, transparency, pedigree and honesty.

Nothing can be changed if we do not begin to do things differently, Mallam Saliu Mustapha’s core values are centred on Loyalty, Innovation, Openness, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork and Excellence.

Your Excellency, Mallam Saliu Mustapha is your long time ALLY who started the struggle with you when your visions and mission were yet to be embraced by the majority of the political class. Your support for the Tuiraki of Ilorin would go a long way to impact positively on the party and Nigerians at large.

It is pertinent to note Your Excellency that the next national chairman of the APC should have the competence to mingle with party members and bridge the gap between party administration and membership.

Thank you for your consideration of this important cause, millions of Nigerians would be most grateful if the concerns raised in this open letter is considered.

Thank you for your continued leadership and service to the Federal Republic Of Nigeria, I would continue to pray for your success.

Respectfully,

Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah
