The Office of the Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs in Nigeria said that “no UN helicopter was hit nor crashed today in north-east Nigeria.”
The UNOCHA on Twitter posted that “Contrarily to ongoing rumours, no UN helicopter was hit nor crashed today in north-east Nigeria.
Please refrain from sharing any unconfirmed information. Thank you.”
It was earlier reported by Daily Trust that Boko Haram shoot down UN helicopter in Borno.
The said helicopter undertook a mission to Bank from Maiduguri.
