Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo paid a courtesy visit to Borno State on Tuesday 21st May 2019.
The Vice President was welcome by the Governor of Borno State Kashim Shettima. During his visit the Prof. Osinbajo commissions several project including:
6.5KM dual carriage Damboa Road constructed not by contractors but Borno State’s own Road Maintenance Agency initiated by Gov. Kashim Shettima
A Primary School named after the Shehu of Borno, HRH, Abubakar Umar El-Kanemi. The school was formerly a Prison but now converted to school by Gov. Kashim Shettima
Ibrahim Damcida Model Primary School by built by Gov. Kashim Shettima
Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo also interacted with pupils at The Learning Centre constructed under North East Child Trust Fund in Maiduguri.
The Vice President went on to commsion other project before departing for Abuja.
