Barring any last minute changes, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to announce changes to his cabinet tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd October 2024.
The President in a directive the attendance of all Ministers to attend an emergency Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting tomorrow at 11am.
All Ministers have been asked to cancel all scheduled appointments and attend the crucial meeting where a review of Ministerial performance is expected to take place.
Sources in the State House note that the President would likely announce the reshuffling of cabinet roles, and the release of some cabinet members who have not performed as expected.
A source close to the President who asked not to be named stated that the Ministers who would be asked to exit the cabinet would be a shocker to Nigerians.
The President, through his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga had last month stated that the President had confirmed his decision to reshuffle his cabinet during a meeting with State House correspondents.
